its the bore clearance so they can get the right pistons in it from factory
if you pull a new one down you can sometimes see the numbers on the pistons
there is no difference at all exdcept for the rpm limiter
You could turn the timing up as well
because the 650 has such a small exhaust port its high end rpm is down and so is its bmep
so it will live happily with the higher timing up top
wow i go away for a week and look what happens
Jk taught me how to barrel roll he is a great guy
i went to one of his ride schools
i was actually testing his blue bomber boat for some one today
its down here in australia and we have been working on it
Its made me feel sad when i was...
i would think the higher compression has more to do with crankshaft flex than anything and trying to stop the back cylinder going to advanced due to it
i believe people get confused as to bottom end and throttle response
my type 9 setup correctly had more hp than the b-pipe every where
but it didnt have the same throttle response as a b-pipe
I just go the petrol station and buy what ever oil is there as long as its tc3 then in it goes
I have never had an issue with a crank failure from lack of lubrication
i run any tc3 oil in mine
it far exceeds the requirements of your engine and to get the tc3 rating the oil has to be compaitable with any other tc3 rated oil
so you dont have to worry about mixing it ethier
