I havent ever worried about setting up a set of 38s in a high performance situtation
i always go for bigger carbs
but yes try going to say 90 lows and a 120 high and see what happens
on all other carbs i have had i have found this to work well the reverse jetting system
It works even...
i rode one
i dont think i want to ride another
the guy that owned it rode my ski with the 8mm lamey in it and i rode his 3d
his eyes were wide after he realised what a real ski will do
650 sx
i ported an piped it
put all this go fast gear on it and raced it
only to get hosed by a guy on a near stock superjet
so i sold it and brought a superjet then hosed him
there is a tunning box to go with it
thats cost about 250 australian
one box works with all ignitions
if i get a sale of 4 ignitions in a group i will give you one for free
other than that you can send me your ignition and i will put another curve of your design in for free
the choice is...
I am working on it now
i will post some pics soon
the price is australian $800
i am not sure what that is in american
about 600 i expect
when you consdier the only ignition that offers the same sort of tunabilty is a vilder except the vilder only goes to 27 degrees advance and its a 1000...
If it blows up you talk to me
I dont think i am a hard guy to get hold of
there is quite a few guys in australia running them with great results
can you get better support than that i dont see advent or msd on here offering advice and help
since the flywheels move the timming compared to rpm and not just a set amount
http://www.factorypipe.com/fire/raddefault.html
Factory pipe tried to make a default curve to allow for it
but in my experince it has shown that each rad flywheel changes it its own amount
what i do is set...
depends what you mean by bottom
if you are saying just off idel then yes its not going to have as much as a cylinder ported for just for bottom end
in the mid range its more than likely have more and well the top end is going to haul
i think you could gain a bit with moving the transfers up...
ok the cylinder is std height
the exhaust port is roughly
192 degrees duration
the transfer is 117 degrees duration
this is a stroker cylinder
its quite a high exhaust port it will run ok
but you will need to put big comression on it to make it come off the bottom and then it will scream...
