I switched from spray tubes to pressurizing the bars and drilling small holes in strategic places in the grips and it seems to be more effective and less trouble. I have a 1/8" pipe thread tapped into bars between bar clamps so it doesn't weaken the bars. It does require solid end caps on grips...

I used a fibergalss tube on mine....you can order by ID/OD dimensions. Did the same for exhaust tube after getting tired of the stock stailness tube always leaking (tube to hull seal) over time.

I wished I surfed before I jetski'd. I actually bought a long board about 8 years ago to try to get some more wave knowledge, but I've only been on it about a dozen times.

I use 271 on the bedplate bolts since I've seen them come loose on a couple motors in the past. I haven't had an issue with removing the bolts when required. Also use it on reed cage screws (they scare me). Other than that, it's waterproof grease on everything else.

Yamaha FX-1 pump is same size but better design. Most folks are removing them to install larger pumps into the FX, so there's probably good availability.

Yeah, who would want all glass (non-SMC) hull that weighs about the same as all the trick aftermarket hulls out there......except it actually turns. The other really "silly" thing about an FX-1 is that it has a hood design that is really water tight, so thats a bummer because now you can't buy...
