I build and offer these harnesses for $24 plus shipping of $6.50. I use OEM components so it's plug and play. Let me know if that is competitive with OEM.

Any Z3 or Miata guys out there?

I've been looking for a fun weekend vehicle as well and came across these last year. Velocity Rails out of Colorado. Miata based IIRC, and the silver one below that I was looking at sold for around $10K...

Online tool for generating printable timing tape, degree wheels and a host of other useful calculators

This thread needs to be fleshed out with how peeps are using it and eventually added to the Tech section. I have been using this tool at work to calculate belt speeds and ratios but noticed this morning that they now have printable timing tapes and degree wheels. Printable timing tape; Inch...

I’m pretty sure that 99% of all recommended safety measures are less than 3% effective. False security. Worked great for seasonal allergies though, which was the point I was making.

What's your view look like today?

Yeah, I did that exact same thing shortly after we moved into our new house...only I had the mattress base panels from our king size bed leaned up against my bench right behind it that got soaked in oil. [emoji2959][emoji2959][emoji2959]

    superjet cdi modification

Yeah, you’d be amazed how many people want a modded rev limit when their rig won’t even pull 6500 on a good day. This mod is a limitation, not a performance enhancement.

    Other Virus Nonsense

Doubt the effectiveness of cheap simple masks? Right before COVID really hit, I ordered a bunch of masks with replaceable charcoal filters to wear while mowing our lawn. I get torn up for about 3 days after mowing the lawn from allergies so I was ready to start trying things. I’ve worn it 4...

    superjet cdi modification

AFAIK, this mod works on all versions of the 6M6, 6R7, 61X and 62T CDI's. The only noticeable difference will be that it doesn't hit the rev limit as soon, if it's even hitting it now. Does the ski have the power to hit the rev limit now or just when the pump unloads? What's the setup? If it's...

    “Rebuilding A Bendix”

We usually assign such tasks to whomever failed to make it to the meeting on time or more commonly, whomever failed to make the meeting at all. You do not want to miss an Action Item review meeting in our group, lol. :) Since ScottS isn't here, I volunteer him to school you on the subject, He's...

    Bilge pumps

Not anymore they don't. I miss the build quality of the original RULE pumps. I had a 500 that was over 12 years old and still running strong. You're lucky to get a season and a half out of the newer ones. I built a couple kits for the Automatic pumps that come with a 3 position toggle for...

    Bilge pumps

I didn’t think it was that long of a duration between cycles but I do believe you are correct on the function. Plenty of riders swear but them and have zero issues. I think it helps that the 800 pumps a ton of water so it catches up quick if it does get behind.

    Tool Thread

My father whipped my azz once cause he couldn’t find a socket set that he knew I had used over the previous weekend. I calmly let him vent and then pointed out that I had put it back right where I had found it. On the fender of the tractor he was working on the weeks prior. [emoji16]
