I have the cylinder already drawn
I may look at working a deal with you Mox and we can do a production run over there and sell in the usa
The issue for me from australia is shipping
are you interested in doing something
This was my first head i made when i was trying out the drawings i did for size
I also made a stroker crank out of wood as well
It actually looks quite cool
I am going to use it a as a baby rattle for my new born
The good thing is you can almost set the port timing you want with the mill
And the ports will be perfect when you get it
I was planning on setting my cylinders for a good free ride setup and then if you want to race it you can port it to do so
By doing that you will not have to run power...
Sorry but i am not about to give out that drawing
It took ages to draw and i am looking to do a production run of them
Cnc is better for making small changes i agree
Not sure about the lack of transfer ports since thats the weak area in a yammie cylinder is the transfer area
My cylinder is still at the engineers and be cutting out the first of the mill
i have still to finish the water jackets but its almost there
Will be ready to go soon
It probally doesnt look like its changed much from the last drawing you guys have seen but believe me it has
Im still debating...
When you cut the case the gases get there quicker with less distance to travel
we did an engine and cut the cases to allow the extra ports to come straight down
the major gain was the low end throttle response it hit like a mother off the bottom
and it gained a bit extra up top as well
I...
The new ones are 5 port as well at the moment
I wouldnt worry about the angled transfer port
most serious high hp engines i know of that are being built these days have the cases opened right up and it will not effect it
It makes me wonder why they did it however the casting was already...
I have experienced the shrinking with devcon as well
However i have heard they changed there formula and doesnt do it as much as it used to
myself i always use jb weld
I just wish you could buy it in large amounts
