Dusted the cob webs off her this weekend. Cleaned the gas tank out, cleaned the carbs, cleaned and re-packed the steering with fresh Lucas grease. Fired right up and ran awesome all day.
I thought about adding a solar panel as a joke. :)
For freestyle the cost is just too damn high for batteries. This jetski I probably have 1100-1300$ into not counting the second battery. And my plan is to swap out the guts into a dirt bike for the kids in the winter. I am also learning that...
While I had the pump apart I figured why not sharpen the veins and clean up a couple rough patches. And after looking at the large block of a diverter in the jetmate nozzle my first thought was to cut it out, but instead I thinned her out and put an edge on the front and back of it.
For the tray you want the 2 part epoxy medium. and a few yards of 17oz biax. but if you are going to do the tray you might as well reinforce the whole hull with some 6oz sglass too. :)
Check your compression. pull off your flywheel and make sure there is no rust on you magents and stator pickup etc. Next check your stator outputs. If you replaced everything in ebox it is probably fine and stator is the issue. You can replace the whole thing or just the charge coil.
