Shouldn't have an issue, you will lose the rib that help secures your rubber exahust tube to the stainless tube but should be fine without it, if you still want it, you could always weld a thick bead around the whole tube if you got a welder Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

Have you replaced the spark plugs them self? Do you have a water fuel separator? If so check if that's full, or I'd recommend getting one if not. Sounds alot like a fueling issue to me, I'd double check all your fuel lines and carb, and make sure it's tuned properly Sent from my SM-G986U using...

I lived in michigan where it would get in the negatives, all I would do would run my ski on dry land for 2-3 minutes the take spark plugs out and spray wd-40 in the cylinders then turn the engine over by hand. And that would be it, no blankets or covers and never had an issue, as for your boat...
