yes, since the their limited to one setting, adjust the engine setup and pipe tuning to match. good for one thing and one setup only. depending mostly on huge displacement, compression and ignition timing....lol I guess you could change the springs like adjusting popoff pressure.

I wasn't trying to be, but it seems like a prototype situation to me. I understand the reason for wanting pipe clearance, but as intricate as those guys get with dialing in their setups, it's seems like defeating the purpose.

I know how to adjust them, I was just wondering why x-metal didn't make them adjustable. it seems like since they went to the trouble to make them, they would. that's kinda like gold-plating a turd, and then using it for a hood ornament.

had a similar experience with a nit/alc fuel injected 850 small pin. no fun. scarry as hell. never do it again. lesson learned.

X-metal PV's are trick.

when they first came out, everyone thought they were killer, then they started failing and screwing up motors. I had one trash the motor one time, and after that I started rolling them up in a ball, tubes and all and scrapping them to the nearest treeline and just ran premix since. every time...
