i know at dayton they were checking vins and fire extinguishers . they bust n balls on custom hulls? or a stocker with the vin missing? (the back of my ski is pretty much missing and the tag is at the bottom of the ocean with the rest of the back of my ski)
thank you ben a long time in buliding a good group to ride with. its amazing how you feed off each other. i am the only non backfliper in the crew damit. one of these days. i killed my riding by riding a fix steer superjet for 3/4 of the year. that was the 1st time back on a pole ski. i freakn...
that would b me lol . hit the bottom bad 2 jumps before that one didnt want to do it again. lol if you look close you can see the front of the ski is missing from mashing it into the sand one to many times.that spot is only a few feet deep in spots i find the lowest the most.
i lil fyi the shot of me pumping the water out of the freak motor was because a wave broke right on the motor when steve stoped to check how much gas he had. (and i was holding the stop botton went turning it over) freak is water tight with the hood on lol
this is y i dont mess with worn out heads. that piston is that color from being cooked. air bubbles dont do to good of a job cooling. it should be fine. but i would pull it apart and check it. to much heat does funny things to pistons.
on a stock pole i went -4 with umi turn plate. on my rrp pole i went -3 with rrp turn plate. my back hurt the 1st few rides but i nutted up and rode through the pain and now im fine. short pole is a must for surf riding.
