    Js550 starting issues

What year is your 550? If its one of the earlier ones when it started to come with the 44mm carb that is a known issue. There is a defect in the low speed circuit that dumps fuel in the intake when turned off. Next time it happens hold the throttle open when you try to restart it, if it fires...

    440/750 swap help

96 should be a big pin. What is the serial number on the crank cases? Very possible that is not the original motor, defiantly not the original paint.

How to get more bottom end 750 sxi pro

Thats correct. With the kawi pumps you need to replace the whole thing. They do not have separate sections like yamaha. A mag pump will not help with low end, just hook up. Honestly the pro is the worst low end / least playful hull out there. To get more low end you are looking at replacing...

    98 Sxi Pro fuel cell...

SXi Pro has a smaller tank. The 750 SX and SXi hold like an extra gallon. Have never seen any aftermarket tanks made specifically for the 750s before.

    SX/SXi/SXi Pro 91 750SX Keihin Sudcos 42mm-Tuning

You need to tune both at the same time. If you turn one screw, turn the same one on the other carb. That is not a typical setup, so you will most likely need to experiment a bit to get it tuned correctly. Jets can be ordered from JetsRus.com

    Where to purchase larger jets?

You can get Keihin jets at jetsrus.com

    JS550 750 Swap - Need Opinions

2k is probably about right to build that ski. $100 hull, $500 motor, $150 in turf. The rhaas pump conversion and a good impeller add another $1000. The thing I hate most about it is the single carb and 650 pipe. Easy to fix that but still, choking down that motor big time.

    750 electronics in 750 possible?

Yes, all 750 electronics are bolt on with the 650. Just cant mix and match parts between the two.

    Scored pistons

My SXi stays really dry on the inside, usually just a little moisture on the bottom after a day of riding. How much water do you get in the engine bay? I wouldnt think you should have any issues with those flame arrestors in normal circumstance.

SX/SXi/SXi Pro 750 SP on BP bottom end rec port jetting recommendations

I have this set up on my ski, except my carbs are not modified. Im running the recommended factory pipe jetting for SXR except 75 pilot and 2.0 N/S with 80G spring.

    Interchangeable Crankcase?

No, your reed motor intakes into the crank case, piston port intakes into the cylinder. Two completely different motors.

pre molded kit to cutting the nose of a 750sx?

Buy a new ski. Dont cut up the hull because you think you can flip it. Not happening.

95 SXI stock dual carb size?

Lol, small duals will always be better than a big single, for top and bottom end. The issue is that any SXI is ported for top end, and you can tune around that. That is one of the last skis you want if you are looking for freestyle.

    650 sx pump tuning

Best impeller is a Skat 8/16. On my 650 I started with a 9/17 and it was slugish. I had a pipe, 44, head, on a fresh built motor. The 8/16 was by far the best and everyone was surprised how well that ski rode. I would start there, and tinker if needed. Anyone who says that a straight pitch...
