what do you guys know about the raptor 700r. It from what I read seems to be a great trail quad. lower compression so maintenance isnt' has much. maybe?

ya the suzuki's are to wide for me since I will mostly be on trails. Thats really thats all around me.

man I hope so! Valves are easy to check.. I guess you just have to use different size shims to keep them in spec correct?

I"m really liking the new kawi quad. The guys at the shop said all the 450's require more maintence. They said rings and piston once a year. I was kinda shocked by that since its a 4 stroke. I am only a rec rider. Just going to be a toy to play on. They said the suzuki 400's are great rec quads...

how long does it take to drop in a piston and rings? Just curious. I take it your leaving the stock rod and bearings alone.

how often do you guys replace your piston an rings in your 4 strokes?

ya they released it early I guess.

ya the new kawi quad is FI. FI makes things much simpler if you ask me.

What do you guys think Of this new quad? I"m wainting to get a bike, or quad, I"m really liking the new kawi. I noticed most of you are bike riders. I'm looking for something fun to trail ride, and try a few tracks with. I'm a newb to off road toys.
