if you just want to turn up the stator then you just move it on the adjust it on the screws under the flywheel
its close enough to 1mm turn on the stator is 1 degree but what you add you add every where so be careful
the stator needs to be turned anticlock to advance the timing. do your self a...
pull out the reed stuffer thats causing half your issue
put in a 130 low speed
115 high
2.5 n/s
95 gram spring
go ride the 44s you have will go very well they are a great setup and I run them on alot of surf boats here in australia
x2
it will handle better as well, its just not as good for jumping to the added weight
racers actually put weight in there skis to make them handle better your comes pre weighted.
You can run a big single on that ski if you want, personally I would just put on a stock 46 if you really want to change carbs, If your looking to update to 62t caes at a later date then possibly buy twin carbs for your 61x
The buckshots setup well will give good power the bummer thing is they are so fussy on air density so when the temp changes so do there settings.
the stock 44 will go ok , not as good as the buckshots but it will be more consistent and will not drive you crazy every time a cloud comes over
Im looking for the expansion chamber that was made for the r&d dry pipe
it was made in japan
Im trying to find a link if you know of it please post the link
cheers
This engine is run in australia Chucky
its runs an epic ignition and we can buy 98 octane at the pump here
Its also just a free ride boat not a closed course or song run boat
If it was one of my engines I would go for about 1mm squish on the engine and about 190-200 psi to make it snap on hard
I had one on my superjet
it cost me heaps to get shipped here. I very quickly pulled it off and sold it for a lot less than I paid for it.
It made the ski very twitchy and was useless in my mind for racing, trying to cross wake was near impossible. It did however have great top speed
