    Dustin mustang has it right they have a cvt so they only have to make power in one speed range or at least a very small power range Where a pwc has to pull of the dock to top speed. the cvt changes gear and keep the snow mobile engine at the correct rpm much like a scooter

    Having a restrictor on the carb like you have is going to reduce fuel pressure You have it on the inlet side of the carb you need it on the outlet side I run them off the carbs to a t then put a restrictor in it. the same system novi use

    Like i said Matt you cant put two engines in different skis with different hull weights and different pumps, carbs, props and who knows what else and say one engine is better than the other or as good as another, Surely you can understand this ???
