Definitely, worst case is your pipe gets too hot but you notice pretty quick because it sprays into the tray.

I had the same problem and taking cooling lines off to flush is inconvenient. I added "T", a valve and a round fitting to my ski. When I need to rinse I just open the valve and push my hose onto the fitting while it runs. It is hidden by the hood while riding.

This is decent for a spray.
