I'm not sticking up for anyone, but if its in stock it seems to be okay. I just picked up a Razr hood, it was in stock, took me 2-3 wks to get it. Hard to beat for the money (Hood, Nose, Billet pole mount) for $625!
32:1 & Xscream said to run Mercury Marine Quicksilver oil. I'm running a 6mil stroker/860cc xscream built motor.
Another builder told me kinda the same thing on strokers, tear down around 75 gallons or so! I went with another shop!
Build it & let it rip!
Few more PICS with a better Camera. I love the lines on this hood, Jeff really did a great job. Plan on doing the final sanding tomorrow. Just have to pick some colors now.
Got my WDK hood today. Looks great, weights a little more than I thought it would, list on here said 12lbs, scale said 14lbs (UPS shipping scale). Got all the carbon work done, all the holes are filled. Going to paint it this week. Should be back together is 2 wks.
Call Xscream. When I picked my ski up I was talking to Radney about how many hrs/gallons to run my stroker. He was telling me that the pumpkin (pat's ski) ran 1yr 3 months before it was pulled apart. He said that ski runs every weekend on race gas & has had a lot of hrs/gallons through it...
Isn't all that high compression hard on the crank? When I use to race we would replace cranks every year due to running higher compression motors (240-250 PSI) . I like 195-210 on 50/50 (93) & Avgas or straight avgas. just my .02 , cheaper gas rocks when your riding every weekend!
I got a oil drum thats almost empty, very clean & will make a great fuel drum. I also have some plastic drums I use when taking airplanes airpart. I got ya covered!
He has it pumped out once a month. We use to use the Jet A in our fork lifts & yard trucks. With Jet A you should add some oil to use in auto's etc. Its hard on the injection pump, etc.
Your correct, all airports have to pump there tanks & trucks every day. Its worth the trip! My airport manger has it pumped & won't let anyone near it the 55 gallon drums. He's got camera's on the fuel farm & self serve pumps now days.
I think you would like AV Gas, no Ethenol crap! Like you said its the same every where you buy it. (I make money when planes fall out of the sky, I also get what gas is left!)LOL I work at the airport so its no problem to get 100LL, just the airport manger likes to charge us $1.00 more than...
Company in St. Augustine S & B Logistics flies lear Jets, I think there hiring. One of my friends called them, but hes lacking twin TT. I think its 1500 TT, with 1000 ME, & turbine time helps. Worth a shot!
Are you flying a King Air 100 now? Or 90? Picture looks like a 100.
