I think there is some stuff on pwc today, but basically you run the pvc back and forth across the chines with sand paper wrapped around it to take out all the imperfections. You do it enough and you will deepen and sharpen the chines. I did this to my hull and you can notice a difference...
ADET has one on a stock 61x and it's great. I had mine on a ported 62t and it was also great. You really need to restrict the water going into the 'stinger', this really gives it a much snappier response. Without the restriction it loads up the waterbox pretty bad. My chamber was dented but I...
650 yamaha are pretty mild out of the box. I would get the 701 and sell the 650. Your prob going to get more gain with the pipe but not much. Say you get $300 for your 650 motor your only out $300 and your ski is going to be worth a hell of alot more with a 701 in it rather than a 650 with a pipe.
You have 2 lines coming into the exhaust manifold and 2 coming out of the head.
Send one line overboard.
Send the second; valve-headpipe-stinger/overboard.
This way you will still have water going through the engine if you forget to open the valve.
I thought about doing this as well. Mcmaster would have something, a brass ball valve would probably be your best bet. You really only have to worry about the pipe and the stinger so you could get away with one valve between the head and the bottom of the pipe, asuming your running a b pipe with...
I called a dealer and they said after labor day they will have all the info. I don't know if thats when you can order one but as of now all they have is a brochure.
I ordered the oem housing with bearings installed from from AJS cus my bearings are shot anyway. Why would there be a need to replace the drive shaft if its straight? Doesn't it press into rubber on the carrier?
So I need to rebuild my bearing housing....

What parts/ tools do I need and how do I do it?
Do I need a press? Should I just buy a full bearing housing deal from AJS?

it does take on water like a mf'r too prob more then just just coming from the scupper. I'll have to pull the motor and check it out. The midshaft is in need of a rebuild so it won't be a total waste of time.
I have the square side on the pump and the other site with the flaps on the shoe and it is def sealing all the way around. Its so major and It is driving me nuts that I haven't figured it out yet.
