you don't need longer straps if you are getting a smaller battery the straps will be long enough to hold it

well looks like i will be doing the same thing either with 24-7 holds or trinity holds i can't decide. i am not a big fan of revs they just don't seem secure enough for me.

yeah man i forgot about this thread. those holds seem like the way to go. goose is sending me some 24-7 holds that a may use to hack up like that. I have never used 24-7 holds are they any good? i am going with the extra wide tray fo-sho.
