a 701 would give you the power of a superjet. A superjet has snappy power where a 750 kawi has a slow build up of power and little to no bottom end punch.
try to remove the spark plug boots and cut a 1/4 to 1/2 inch off of you plug wires and put the boots back on then try it out. my ski did that when i first got it. Throw a new set of plugs in while your at it. make sure you gap them correctly. just a shot in the dark, but it's worth a shot.

pm jjc568 he runs the same carb on his 750 i think. he is always messing with his carb. You should buy the adapter for you mani and run a mikuni they are easier to tune.
I just boght a new house and all my neighbors suck! they are all old and nosey. the guy that lives next to me makes out with his bird all day and lays in the yard like a hippie and then looks at me funny for using power tools or watches me from his window when I start my motorcycle. I hate...

it's your start/stop switch. unplug the stop side of the switch and try to crank it. i bet you will have spark then!!!! that is the same thing that is wrong with my ski. yours probably has dirty conections for the switch.
