twinsted crank, or oddly failed MSD enhancer?

a buddy subbed his ski a few weeks ago, ingested water and twisted the hell out of his crank. brought it back and it shook like crazy and ran like a hog.

not necessarily. distance is also a factor.

    Help with Nose Stab please...(pics)

correct. just saying, going by his picture sequence he posted, he needs more air time with the way he's doing it. not necessarily "higher" just more time before hitting the water to allow for good rotation.

951 in my 750sx freestyle buildup

just saying, it being a powervalve setup, it will probably hit a lot harder off the bottom than it already does if you bring the prop down. If it's hitting as hard as you say it does already, and you're getting almost 60 mph out of it on the top, that should be an amazing freestyle setup with...

951 in my 750sx freestyle buildup

you need to put a lower pitched prop in it to increase the low end and knock off the top speed. if you're getting 59 mph out of it, the pump is loading up too quick for the engine to hit the are of the powerband that will jump it out of the water.

looks like he needs more air to give the ski time to spin before it hits the water. :dunno:

it looks like you're doing it just fine, but you need more hang time in the air to allow the boat to completely invert. stabbin' too early.

yes, they certainly do. Just about every time I see someone buy one, they complain about it falling apart, or substandard parts, compression issues, cracked manifolds, trashy bearings, etc... it's made me rethink about ever buying one. no fault warranty, or otherwise. I would rather just build...

    550 reed motor... viper 7000

if you have constant water spraying out of your cylinders, it has to be getting in from the waterjackets. that usually means you have a leaky headgasket, or a cracked head, or cracked cylinder. water doesn't circulate through the cases.

It would still be interesting to see all of the different graphic designs that various members can create, regardless of whether or not you decide to use any of them. Who knows, you might see something you like, darin. :dunno:

    FX-1 will a 750 sxi pump fit a fx1

but how does he get such good low end performance with such a high pitch prop on a mostly stock 701? is it because the pump is so small? I mean, my 400/750 conversion will rip off the bottom like that and has a 19 degree prop in a 440 pump, but 18/24 seems like a lot of pitch to me to be...
