I ended up getting the comp pole and it looks a little short but when riding it is about the perfect length for a bob. Only thing I didn't like about the whole pole setup was the breather tubes don't fit at all! Nightmare of a instal because of it.

So I am getting a new XMetal pole for my gen2 bob and want to know should I get the normal -2 to -5 pole or the comp pole? Will the shorter pole help me control my ski better or even flip better?
