That is the sexiest x2 I have ever seen... I got a little chubby just looking at it. Tim, I take it back, I don't want the reg x2, its gen2 or nothing...
lol, he doesn't, it was an idle threat if I fixed his ski, he hasn't rode it since he turtle it in the ocean and broke all 4 motor mounts... Its ready to go though! I finished it tonight and hopefully he will put it in the river this weekend :)
Wahoo, just finished up the trim install on the 09, shortened the pole 3", and installed a stubby cone. Not bad for a morning :) Now onto Steveowes ski!
Another 2 cents here, re-entries are tough but don't scare the :-):-):-):-) out of me like my ski coming down on top of me..... I'm a 3 year newb and backflip attempts in the ocean still get me going. Re-entry attemps just piss me off...
Definately a fun time! Larry and Daniel were a blast to watch. I had more fun floating and watching them then riding! Its way more then we usually get to see on the flat stuff! Pretty impressive stuff on what they had to work with!
At least thats what Im calling it so its Lonstar freeride related! I will be there post up if your around! I have my phone and will get updates to this thread... I will either be at the jetties or Bob hall pier... Sporting 09 Superjet and a blue blaster... Melmack may find his way down on friday...
When you say like arse thats a pretty broad scope... Did you have the carbs running on something else and they were good but the intake tract didnt agree or something else. As for the 44's sbn what was the deal with them.
If you could run the I bodies that came with the 800 would you over 400-1000$ duals that you will likely be on your own for tuning... or even 46 i bodies from another ski..
This is if it were more cost effective then the wdk vertical intake for 475$
Granted it gets a vertical intake.
How long has it been, I bought and got it it a pretty timely manner, it dissappeared for a month when I ordered my trim kit from him.. but it still arrived..
Progress
Got the footholds glued in place. Next I need to form the foam into the areas in the tray. Also need to plum in the scupper. Also need to put in exhaust pipe and put foam around it. I sealed up all the lines tonight as well. I cut the foothold apart and moved them as far apart to...
I am not sure how wet it will be inside... Its not a tested setup or ever been used from what Ive read.
I have used pvc in a yamaha 1200v powered jet boat.
