my old 650sx used to do this. it was because the pipe was getting so full of water it would run under load. so it would run great on the stand and idle all day in the water but as soon as i would full throttle it would bog down and run like crap but if i pumped the throttle and bunny hopped it...

i have a friend that has a custom made fuel cell and the bottle mount is welded to the front of that and padded with turf. So the fuel cell is small enough the the bottle fits between the tank and the flywheel cover.

i may look into it. what hull mods do you guys this i should do. i am open to any and all thoughts. i have a clean slate to start with.

I have an old 650sx that I am trying to get back on the water. The ski has a west coast head and pipe. I have a 38mm keihin and a 40 mm keihin I want to put one of them on. I have tried both of them and can't get the ski started. The 38 is brand new and the 40 is rebuilt. What jets should I run...
