its the Bearing surfaces that really matter , IF I see correctly in the pic its only the area under the rod that is scored,, if so they will be fine to run as long as there is no cracks, and the bearing surfaces are not pounded out

This was more an learning experience in Vacuum bagging for me I had some open machine time to cut the mold, and Wydopen had the material for the mold, even with that the fiberglass/ form and epoxy still cost plenty but custom perfectly symmetrical tubbies was worth the learning experience...

Thanks Andrew, that material has turned out to be the best moldmaking material I have have machined and the least expensive:beerchug: now all the cnc mold makers are going to be looking for you to hook them up :pat:

New to vacuum bagging so I followed Flash-Fx 's tutorial on his hull bottom I made a mold to fit the hull of the fx 1 , than layed them up with like he showed us, I still have to mount them and try them out, but dont want to make changes to my skis before the huge pismo surf

the Quality of the surf really will depend on the wind, its too bad that Pismo usually gets an onshore wind around 11 am So peps with hangovers get the slop, and by the time the contest starts It could be real bumpy
