On a superjet pump do you silicone the pump sections together? Stator, wear ring, and reduction nozzle. The manual says to use silicone but I see a lot of people use nothing
New sbt reed pedals. Installed and there is slight slight gap. Will the crank case pressure close them? Tried flipping them. Same thing. And no the screws are not over tightened.
What’s the torque spec for the 4 screws that mount the reeds the the intake mani? And what’s the spec for the bolts that bolt the intake mani to the case? Manual doesn’t list. Yamaha 701. 64x cases

Installing my wsm mid shaft assembly on my Krash hull. Pump is aligned. Do I need to use any silicone on it? There is a rubber lip on the mid housing which leads me to believe that will seal the water out?
Looking in the manual, it says to use some blue Loctite on the drive couplers. Just worried about them getting seized on then? I guess the Loctite also acts as a thread sealant? And does anyone torque them to 20 ft lbs like the manual stated?
so I ride fresh and occasionally salt water with my skis. I’m assembling a 701 to go in my Krash and rebuilding my 550. Should I be using Loctite or antiseize on everything? I know the superjet manual calls for red Loctite on a lot of things like engine mounts but that seems like a headache down...
