Looking in the manual, it says to use some blue Loctite on the drive couplers. Just worried about them getting seized on then? I guess the Loctite also acts as a thread sealant? And does anyone torque them to 20 ft lbs like the manual stated?

Blue loctite does also act as a thread sealant, apply liberally and let er rip, but truefully they don't need locktite I have never seen one back off

Ok I just want to play it safe as my engine guy said back in the day when he torqued to 20 ft lbs, some of his race boat couplers came loose
