I don't use straps to hold my feet in the holds, and the type/size of the hold not really matter to me because I'm going to pad/turf it to the shape I want it to be. When I do one footed flip tricks my left foot is just wedged in the foothold sideways, one footed rolls my foot is in the hold...
I have used lots of different helmets, I started out running a full on moto helmet but those are for sure not the way to go just becuase they don't flow water well and soak up quite a lot of it.
I used the Bell Balistic helmets for some time until I broke the chin piece off of one and busted...
Yea...I agree with you, those bars need to be longer. The other option is to move the start stop switch over farther and open up the end a little so that is goes around the bend. Not a great option and does not look really clean...but it is one way to go.
I don't suggest this as being a...
I'm not really sure what their status is, I'm pretty sure they still exist in some capacity as HSR Benelli but I'm not sure what their future plans are. The site is a place holder now http://www.benelli-group.com/ Regardless, I would not have considered them a good recreational ski. Great...
I was not suggesting building skis with aftermarket parts, I was suggesting that a small scale production run would allow a company to build/source their own parts. And that for a company that was already in the aftermarket part business it would not be a huge leap for them to transition to...
I know a few people who were close to the Ocatane project, and basically from what I understand is that the sales numbers were just not there for Polaris which is reason the pulled out of watercraft in general. If they aren't selling multiple thousand units...then it is not worth their time...
Sarcasm is always so hard to get across in internet language. That first post should have sounded bitter, Yamaha has ignored our segment of the market but still continues to profit from it on the backs of the aftermarket companies.
To be clear the next couple of paragraphs will contain no...
Maybe that last post came off as a little bitter...but I don't really think it makes any difference what Yamaha does. The reason the sport/hobby is alive and progressing is that we have great aftermarket companies that are passionate about standups and are still putting forth effort and money...
Yea ^^^^^ this is basically what I have heard also. So it is pretty cool we will still be able to buy new skis from Yamaha. What would be cooler is if they gave a :-):-):-):-) about selling them. I guess they figure all the $$ the spent promoting them 15 years ago is good enough and the...
First off Tem is a great guy and I wish I could have spent more time talking with him. My review of riding skis that are not set up any where close to how I would set mine up, riding in really bad conditions, and with lots of back pain should not really be taken to hear by anyone.
One of the...
They do work and seem to hold up pretty well. I put some holes in the hood on the BOB I built that Christian Young now has. They are basically in the same location as the intake on the back of the OEM hood. So far they are holding up pretty well, and Chris rides at least 3 days a week.
