no there is more in there than the turf to hold the door on it. turf could tear, and then you lose the door and extinguisher. I would not do that. it has multiple straps as attaching points.

that ski feels so light, and the tray we made for it is slightly wider than a sj tray. turns really tight too. I cannot wait to get it in some waves and see how it feels.

measuer from the mounting point to the cable end and that should give you an idea if it will. some cables are longer or shorter on just the ends( not talking about overall length). so when mounted they wont work if they are not the correct length. why not just order the correct cable?

it works even better if you grind the shoe to match or come as close as you can to the new 144 wear ring. did you remove the motor and align your pump?

epoxy would be best, not sure you can glass those mounts in. since its kawi it most likely uses those mounts, easy enough to get those. lemme know if you need some help. and definitely when you break it. maybe we can mold that and make a new one with a bigger motor lol. probably wont ride...
