Super Jet Swapmeet's "Really?" RN build

the sides can be vac bagged, just not something I would recommend to a first timer. u can try it but do it somewhere easier first like the tray. or a bilge hole you want to fill. you can use a shop vac for a poor mans setup but honestly with the minimal amount you are doing I dont see the...

    Other Threaded bar ends.

not sure if it was on a yamaha or a seadoo, but one of em has a nut that is not welded. pretty sure its seadoo, and there is a slot on the bars you insert the nut into so maybe go to the junkyard or have someone post a pic of it and buy the little nuts and make the slot. Bam! any bars are now...

Super Jet lowered Square nose hood

yes almost all the square owners like and want to keep the original lines of the hood. at least most did when I was trying to do the conversion hood. trying to add curves to a square is not a good idea, I agree. thanks guys. anyone disagree? this seemed to be the way to go and I just want to...

Super Jet lowered Square nose hood

I have a had a quite a few guys ask for a lowered square hood and I just want some input on what the hood should look like. is it just shaving the top section off? I have a smooth liner already from the square conversion hood so unless there is something special needed there I think just...

    Super Jet Lowered SJ Hood

the only downside to reworking the stock hood is that its made from smc and that is typically not the easiest material to bond to. Not saying it wont work or last, just that you have a higher chance for problems. make sure to scuff really good and use only epoxy resin or there is supposed to...

    FX-1 144 pump mod

im too am slow and old and a little on the heavy side. but its like anything else if you do it long enough it gets easier. between my sj and sxr I like the quick and slippery sj ride better most days. the fx we did up is even more quick and slippery. a stock fx is too much work for me at...

Other yamaha pump to 300sx hull?

however you do it, to my thinking the main concern is alignment. and this may mean you have to jack up the motor or jack up the tray to get things in line. a piece of flat aluminum with holes drilled and tapped would be cheap and easy for inserts. and impossible to twist out of the glass.

    FX-1 144 pump mod

nothing wrong really, it works. its just a little short on power and hookup in certain conditions and the more motor you add the worse it gets. and just as you pointed out the new hottest thing going is to go with a bigger pump. competition skis are using 155mm from couches. lots of guys are...

Freestyle Blowsion Digger footholds VS. Blowsion Kicker footholds

well I can remedy that, pm your addy and we can take care of that in short order. I know it was not a negative comment toward me and even if we all agreed that the old 24/7 holds were the best, he cant get em anymore. and I am always very grateful for any of the props I get from everyone...

Other yamaha pump to 300sx hull?

I was going to tell them that but it looked like they were goin a little different route. no need to barge in and interupt. I was just trying to remember how small that intake tunnel was and how a 144 pump snugged up to a 300 inlet was gonnna work. how big is a 300 pump anyway? plus you cant...
