I have seen sbt and wsm cranks where a bearing was not quite pressed all the way on, not allowing the bearing to sit in the pin. Not off by much, but enough to not mesh

Lowering the exhaust tube at bulkhead isnt that much work once the tray is open. Run a wr3 hose from water box to exhaust tube. Easy.
