Well time flies when you're busy! I finally set aside a weekend and decide to hammer out the carbon work. Took about 25 hours total with all the cutting, measuring, taping and so on. Big thanks to FlashFx for some really helpful tips. For my first time working with carbon, I think it worked...

Definitely put down a layer of resin first if you're using biax I just reinforced my ski with 17oz and I don't think it would have wet out completely if I didn't put a thin layer of epoxy down. Also mentioned above, once its wet, its pretty easy to slide around to get it in the exact place you want

Thanks for the advice on the bondo, what I decided to do was use it as a base, sanded it down smooth, then put epoxy over the top and sanded that flush with the areas i was looking to make flat (like the hood area). Not sure if this will work or not but I guess I'll find out. The laws arent...
