Thank you for sharing. Glad I’m not only one. BTW: last summer at end of year we put that lightened wheel on another boat (stock 760) and guess what? Dead battery and it that boat has never gone dead before.
Does anyone have creative ways to tie down back of stand ups on a triton lite?
There are absolutely NO holes and NO provisions for tie downs. I have some ideas but want to see what others have done
The bunks are short and skis hang off back end quite a ways.
My guess would be the slots are cheaper:
#1 Huge volume
#2 Fast broach or horizontal fixture mill
My guess drilled would be much more expensive
#1 extremely low volume
#2 Drill, with fixturing and consumables vs. broach/Horizontal mill
Yamaha 760 64x crankshaft out of a 1996 WB2
Never seen one with holes in bottom of rods versus slots. I’ve seen maybe 100+ Yamaha oem cranks. This is a first. My guess very early 760 crank? I’m guessing this was done for strength and they reverted back to traditional slots for some...
WTT: long shot. Wanted to trade my Blue RRP OVP system for Black or Silver. used one weekend and only blue part on my 22’. (RRP pole stop too)
Trade for black or silver before painting. RRP only had blue in stock when I “just had to have it now”
