    Reducing Bpipe stinger diameter?

As you make the stinger smaller the back pressure increases. Note: Most small twin cyl Jetski race pipes are 41mm-44mm If you do decide to make your stinger smaller for increased performance. Please note you may need to revisit your dome profile (cc, squish, shape) , timing, prop load! and...

SXR Modifying the stock water box?

If your putting a 951 doo in an sxr put a 951 seadoo box in your ski. They fit with a little mod. Mel miller proved on the dyno and field testing nothing made more power on his race motors including twin pipe 1100cc strokers. Do a google search and you can read all about.

Yamaha Wave Blaster 1 Driveshaft DIAMETER

Blaster driveshaft. Identical at each end to the superjet. Just longer and it doesn’t neck down. The 701 superjet shaft doesn’t neck down either. Only early 650 stuff. But they ALL interchange

Yamaha Wave Blaster 1 Driveshaft DIAMETER

650 superjet shaft is necked down between seal surfaces and splines. But same exact specs on each end as every single Yamaha twin ski basically 650+.

Yamaha Wave Blaster 1 Driveshaft DIAMETER

You will need to do some fabrication to make it all work. You can buy a kit on eBay but it’s $$

Yamaha Wave Blaster 1 Driveshaft DIAMETER

Yes driveshaft fit perfect! Blaster will work but it’s too long for what I did. I used a pump I had. Probably a pump for 90-20. All really the same. The older ones just have that bilge function. Pumps technically are same 90-2020 I used the 90 midshaft housing but upgraded to the 95-20...

Yamaha Wave Blaster 1 Driveshaft DIAMETER

I used an 08 driveshaft which set mine back 2” That way it’s legal in rule book for vintage racing technically. 650 driveshafts are skinny. It was also easy to do but you have to machine a wear ring. Note: Skat setbacks are 30mm setback so this combo adds 20mm to what Skat did but moves...

    760 OEM flywheel charging issues

Yeh this one really got me. I’ve ran probably 20+ Kawasaki oem flywheels with all sorts of mods throughout Kawasaki years and never had a failure or even heard of one. These flywheels are almost identical. 750 to 760 My flywheel will now be a Total Loss. I surely won’t be taking out magnets...

    760 OEM flywheel charging issues

Another story for others to have data for Changed motors in my square nose. Went from a stock 3 lobe 760 OEM flywheel / zeel setup that was working fine. (Fully charging battery and nice running setup) Put in my Lamey motor with a 760 OEM flywheel that was lightened and purchased from a...

    SJ dies under acceleration

Hi. yes 50mm carbs 80 return gives around 5psi at wot. want to test a 75 and 85 when it comes In. The fuel system is single pickup, All enlarged pickups, 1/4” lines to GPR petcock to GPR filter to Mikuni remote pump then individual 1/4” lines to carbs. I did single line because I like...

    SJ dies under acceleration

Interesting. Well maybe something to do with a remote pump and where it’s mounted? Down a little lower than carbs. But I have the same on my blaster and many many other skis over the years. Some guys mounted them between motor mounts. I run 3 remote pumps on the side of my GPR and the...

    SJ dies under acceleration

Yes it helps along with Destroyers, bottom work and pump cavity work and proper prop size. Skat pumps move prop back 30mm. I used 08 driveshaft and made a 50mm wear ring to add. So I moved the whole setup back 50mm. Position related to hull is same as 08’+ sj

    SJ dies under acceleration

Good question. Probably close but the ski had at least 3-4 tanks through it minimum before the problem reared it’s ugly head working on a new problem. Lack of charging

    SJ dies under acceleration

Want to share an interesting experience. 1990 square nose I redid this year with all the normal race stuff from the era. Couple of motors. Mild superstock motor and a Lamey/RD cylinder, 8mm rad crank short rod, novi’s, setback pump, dry pipes, wet pipes, etc. During the process of breaking...
