They should be fine, as long as you blew the water out of the exhaust after your last ride.

Well, my type 4 didn't line up very well. I would blow a coupler every 10hrs. Got it good now!!!

Yeah, that makes sense. I know there is water in this grey, foamy stuff. So is this okay? I do get a fair amount of water in the hull. I don't have a scupper yet.(comming soon) Like I said before, the ski runs fine.

This winter, I am installing a one way valve. Just wondering what you guys are using? I got mine from the local plumbing store. 2" dia. inlet and outlet, square in the center with a galvanized steel flap.

Hummm Likely lazy reeds. When I take em out and look at them up to a light, if they are open just a hair, is that the problem? I know they are not broken, cause the boat runs very strong!!

This is for all you dry pipe guys. I was blowing couplers quite often. In order to get my pipe to line up properly.I had to slot the mounting holes for the lord mounts, and bend the lord bracket that bolts to the engine cover. Do you guys do this also?

I have noticed a grey, foamy, watery kinda stuff on my breather plates? Does anyone know what could cause this? By the way my ski runs fine. I have v-vorce delta 2 reeds. Thanks

So, the motor ran fine, then you ported the cyl. Did you change anything else? Did you check the piston wash? Does it bog, or just no power off the bottom? I have ridden a number of sj's with ported cylinders, and it seemed like there was no bottom end at all, then it would come on in...

Ha Ha Yeah, you would be better off to just get a sj chamber. The blaster pipes still sell pretty quick too. You will pay about the same price either way. You should be able to scoop one over the winter.

Ahh, yeah you are going to want to get rid of that stock exhaust. Do you have a blaster b- pipe that you want to put on your sj?
