I know there are some modifications that should be made to the Octane out of the box, some due to design flaws.
Here are a list of modifications that you might want to look into.
(I have no clue, but sure Randy @ Watcon (who is dealing with World Finals) and Prem1x could chime in).
I just opened my computer that's been idle and I had a minimized window (like a popup/spam window).
This is the only site I've been to tonight, and haven't touched the computer since then.
Oh, and I've had the same problem.
I'm in the same boat. Why would I spend more than $10 on a poster? There's dozens of freeride/freestyle DVDs I'd like to buy, but sorry... I'm not going to spend $25 on a DVD.
I would spend $25 on a DVD over $20 on a poster.

IT isn't just the bond line, there are other areas such as the hood lip, pole mount, and if you are rolling, the rear side areas.
Search the carnage section and you'll find the weak areas.
It's my understanding the turnplates are the same for all years.
I was told by Deb at UMI that the only difference between the pre-96 and post-96 UMI setups is that metal plate. It was included in the kit because the pre-96 poles are fiberglass (at the steering) vs metal (again at steering).
I do have an interest in having a rotational change of venue. It doesn't have to be the 'CB' ride, but definitely planned far enough out that the groupies can join if they wish.

You can find others, might be more limited availably with the newer and advanced radar imagery.
I'd like to see a turnout for this March that rivals the '05 and '06 rides.
Since we didn't find a place in Corpus to accommodate our venue, maybe a change in time will work. However, I think the Co-Tex Alliance will be in effect... as always.
