for anything you'll remove later, use regular exterior silicone. if you want to seal/glue something permanently use 5200. For any kind of fiberglass repairs or reinforcing, use epoxy resin and glass.

If the steel bracket requires drilling after powder coat, how will it not rust?
1/4 aluminum is thick enough for the base part of it, but i wouldnt use it for the uprights unless you have are gusseting them quite a bit.
This is the bracket I made up if people need ideas, also custom hood hooks.
I remember when I got my first jetski, a sitdown. I loved it for the first month or so until I got my Superjet. Since then the sitdown has been a trailer queen for friends and family.
