Yep and beat it to death with a rubber mallet. Also use acetone before glue and I use two layers of contact cement but I'm not sure how much it helps....

Phil, did you get a chance to try out anyone's ski with footwells when you were down two weeks ago? If not, try some out at wavedaze. I think I'd be banging the poop outta my knees if I went much further forward than the "standard" on a -3.5 setup. If you come down to do yours, we can test...

The threads. I think the 650's (motor side) and the <=95's (midshaft side) have 6R7 stamped on them and the 701 motors and the 96+ midshafts have 6M6. Something like that.

Made a knot and looped it through. Comes apart easy for a tow rope.

Maybe 1/4". I drilled out four of them and only nicked one adjustment screw barely. They are brass so they are super easy to drill through and just slow down when you start to punch through.

Heh this one was shot with like three different guys wearing the cam. Going through the 3hrs of footage was miserable so I had to stick some of the bad stuff in the beginning to show what I'm talking about :Eyecrazy: It wasn't intended to be a great vid but it's not bad after the first minute...

They are maybe 5/8" thick. A pull hammer will work or just drill a hole big enough to get a slotted screw driver through it. I've done it both ways.
