Stainless t nuts in my freak held up pretty good. I have tapped a few to a size bigger but otherwise all good. I always assumed epoxy resin and carbon was the way to go for best materials but few used it.

Has become my new focus as well. I spent too much time building and wrenching and not enough riding over the years. Trying to only do wrenching to keep my stuff going now. I learned a lot of build skills over the years but that doesnt translate to awesome impressive ride shots.
Neither have plans for new designs. Our community is too small to turn much profit on small scale hull builds when there is mass market competition now from krash and rickter. I expect Tigercraft is still in it only because it is a side business in a already profitable fiberglass shop.
I have the newest 4.7 gallon version limitedslip7 tank and it barely fits. On the oldest version i had to cut it to fit the battery. I've never measured the mah. I think the battery has always been the same size.
480cca battey tender will just barely fit and last forever if you seal them and use the special charger. Ive never ran out of juice even after 4 tanks with total loss.
If you just want it a uniform black color that you dont have to redo then use black appliance epoxy spray paint from a home supply store. Gas resistant and it doesnt need any better prep than a good washing out with detergent and a scrub down with acetone.
