I think most people use the 26mm (or something like that) hydroturf pad for that. For wedges, the yoga blocks are ok but the real wedges are a better thicker foam
i've tried those but they are too easy to tear for heel locks. I've actually bought those exact ones and they are nothing like the foam the heel locks on my ski are made of. They are considerably lighter as well
I feel like I started a thread for this a while back but can't find it... so sorry for the duplication... Does anyone know what the actual foam is that's being used by XScream and others to make heel locks, wedges, etc? I've done a bit of research and i THINK its high density EVA probably in...
Gotta be careful with this. If you restrict content, you are also blocking that content for google crawler which is going to hurt SEO (probably the most important tool for continued growth of the site is organic search traffic if I was guessing). You could do some magic to open the content for...
gotta say, I was really excited when i first switched to my shiny new milwaukee brushless m18 tools, but after using them for 9 months, there are a lot of little annoying things I can't stand..... I use the 1/4" impact a lot and they put the torque controls right under your pinky finger - I...

You’ve probably seen this, but Erickson machining has a pretty good case porting video on YouTube. There’s some good shots of his port work towards the end.
I’m guessing it would work well. You’ll honestly want to just ask art what curve he recommends. My curve is just a zeel version of what he recommended for the MSD. I THINK the curve I used would actually be less aggressive on a stock stroke motor because the piston is closer to TDC at 32 degrees...
That’s the wax curve. It’ll work but if you go back a few pages and find my old 1107 curve you’ll have better results. More advance earlier and carry it out to 6k then drop quickly. I can send you the file if you want.
For the record I ran a 9/16 -3mm cutback in a skat setback 155 with an 1107. It was perfect and everyone that rode it was blown away. Easy combos and huge flips. I’d start smaller than 13/19. That thing is gonna feel like it has no bottom on a 13/19. A lot of folks run an 11/17 with an 1107...
