Best Freestyle Filter / spark arrestor setup

That's the only reason people buy AM arrestors IMO. The stock ones keep water out, and don't break up and get sucked into your intake - what's not to love? As far as I can tell AM arrestors are all negative apart from the bling factor.

You're getting sprayed by your own pissers? Where the heck do you have them mounted?

    remove rubber mat pad question

Power tools my friends, power tools.... A Dremel will clean those edges right up without fear of scratching the sides. You can zip that rubber off in about 5 minutes with a wire wheel

Makes sense. But I'm with you on the 45's for visibility.

    remove rubber mat pad question

Are you talking about the stock rail caps? Use a wire wheel on a drill or an angle grinder and just be careful when you get near the edges - you'll need to scrape the edges using a screwdriver or similar. But, a wire wheel will save you a lot of elbow grease. I've finished the edges with a wire...

    water bypass fittings (PISSERS)

It doesn't matter. Just choose a location and an angle that helps you see the water from your normal riding position.

    Herniated Disk Lower Back???

Good luck. They'll fix you up and you'll be riding again for sure. I was the same as you - the pain was just unbearable. But I'm living proof that you can come back from that end engage in ill-advised jet ski activities again! :-)

    Herniated Disk Lower Back???

Worst thing you can do for a herniated disc. In an L-shape you bend the sciatic nerve and increase tension, which increases the pressure and therefore the pain.

    Herniated Disk Lower Back???

All the stretching, working out etc. suggestions are helpful, but a disc that is pushing on your sciatic nerve and causing pain cannot be cured using those techniques - they only help the symptoms. The disc either has to be shrunk (cortizone shots, but that only works in mild cases) or the...

    Herniated Disk Lower Back???

BS!! Your riding days are not over, but you won't be riding much this year. I had the same thing - crippling pain that stopped me from doing anything. Go and get the surgery!! It really works. Doc told me 4 months recovery to get back to 100% normal, but then I explained what "normal" was for...

    Help the tall guy's ski.

Well, OK - "Superjets have never been very good at that". In stock form the SJ hull just isn't a great turning hull: that's why racing is dominated by Kawasaki's and Hydrospaces these days. Sure people are out there on SJs but the reaction tends to be "wow - look at that guy on an SJ! and he's...

    Help the tall guy's ski.

That's good clarification. Tubbies and a longer ride plate will definitely help you there. Keep in mind that you are not riding a ski which is designed to do that....

Interesting discovery, My pole is cracked. Now what?

Go ahead and consider shortening it if you are replacing the bottom piece. All you have to do is chop 2" or 3" off the bottom and you will notice a big difference in handling.

    Help the tall guy's ski.

That's a great summary of superjet handling! I felt exactly the same when learning and I am 5'9". Superjets are not the best turning skis at all - you need a Kawasaki for that. However, you quickly develop the "superjet turn" technique, and once you have that under your belt you don't even...

Hyperfiber: A pre-preg that sets up with 5 min of uv exposure

This stuff is expensive for sure, but I think it's just fantastic for quick repairs. I would gladly pay that to have a piece in my toolkit for those emergency freeride moments. How great would it be to have your ski floating again in next to no time?
