Thats weird, the location of the stinger on my pipe was on top so i wasnt worried about it. I was really worried about denting my new pipe to make it fit with the gas tank but apparently it does if. I just through some hydroturf where it was close.

It fit perfect I now have a second pisser ran with a flow valve on the stinger and a restrictor on the second pisser

so i fixed the threads with a helicoil. very simple and works great. ski is now running and now im going out tommorow to elsewer lake to break in the new top end. thanks guys for the advice. heres to spending a ton of money

Its really a relief because i just spent 1100 bucks + on a head, pistons, and porting. I was about ready to cry. Probably have another 500 invested in the ski just in replacing stuff that needed to be replaced and on top of the 2400 bucks it took to buy it i was about 4000 invested in quiting...

Actually i think i understand how its done. Doesnt look terribly hard. Ohh well. We will see how it goes

Does anyone know what kind of helecoil kit i should buy? Seems to be a ton of them with a bunch of stuff i have no clue what it is.

Iv never helecoiled anything. So i dont even know where to start. I watched a video but i dont know what kit to buy

just got it ported and polished and i got all the bolts in and then one just kept spinning. pissed needless to say but is it garbage or is it salvageable. its a 61x cylinder.
