I sent an email out to fast elements on a prop suggestion for the following setup before I order the assembled pump, but did not hear back.
Crazy Joe's BAM carbon hull

Torrent 148 setback pump
V-Force 3's, intake unknown, SBN 46mm carbs
Powerfactor dry pipe
Waterbox unknown...
A buddy and I were in the market for an AM ski and finally hooked up with Joe to ride his beautiful BAM V2 hull. I am not sure of its official name but Joe was explaining that he widened the old hull by 3 inches and changed the rails to be longer and go out at an angle for better bite. He also...

Yea, launched at the Dodge state park. 3 of us on SJ's. You absolutely have to come out to St Clair. The waves out there blow everything else away. We are riding Saturday again but with the flooding we may need to ride Cass or Pontiac lake. I'll shoot you a text. I would love to check out your...
Do you ever get out to St Clair? I have to drive right through Waterford on my way out there. We should meet up and ride as soon as Decker's or Harsen's launch opens back up. A few of us rode Cass Lake on Sunday and it was fun. I have the B1 and a 13 SJ.
I am voting clogged vent line. Its running for 10 minutes getting all the fuel it needs before the vacuum is too great and the fuel supply stops. I have seen this before on other small engines where the gas cap vent goes bad and the engine will run perfect if the gas cap is loose allowing a...
I would get an aftermarket intake grate for sure. I put a stock prop from a '13 SJ and a deeper intake grate on mine and it stays hooked up so well that I can drag my elbow in the water in a turn. I love it.
If you are bored, I did a build thread on my B1 here:
Resurrecting a 1994 Waveblaster
A couple of buddys and I went to Decker's DNR launch last weekend and its completely underwater and closed. Pam, the DNR officer, stated that the launch has been closed for a month and also the launch on Harsen's island is closed due to flooding as well. Other than the big DNR launch in Algonac...
Cover anything important with baggies then use a pressure washer sparingly and at low pressure to clean the engine bay. Tip ski sideways or use a vac to suck nastiness out then repeat. Again, be selective what you spray.
OCD, that is an excellent idea. I thought about some kind of strap but didnt see anything I liked until I saw your setup. Since the bow eye is on the way I am going to try and make it work with a tube shim to take up the slack and hopefully get it tight.
Thanks everybody. I did end up ordering one. I think its still going to be a tad too short but I am planning on compressing the foam with some clamps to get it installed.
I have 1 inch foam and another half inch wedge under my turf at my rear bow eye location. Does anyone make a really long bow eye that I could use in this spot? Any other suggestions? I only use the rear bow eye when using my hitch hauler.
From your video that crank main bearing looks ok. Side to side seems fine and it spins freely. Is your pto aligned to your midshaft coupler correctly? Perhaps the alignment is way off causing too much friction in that joint?
