    Resurrecting a 1994 Waveblaster

Quick update for the new year! Got the skis out and ready for summer last weekend. I always hated the bright yellow seat cover so I had this one made for me from Blowsion. The quality is fantastic and it went on great. I ordered the custom cover that only goes on once you cut the hump out of the...

    Resurrecting a 1994 Waveblaster

I do not ride with extinguishers but one could be mounted under the hood easily enough. Honestly, if I were to ride with one, I would leave the stock sleeve in the hull.

Looking for someone who can shorten/rocker a B1 in SE Michigan

Thanks so much for the response. I will let my buddy know. As a side note, I am going to shoot you a PM about a Dart hull. I have outgrown my SJ and would like to try a different flatwater hull.

Looking for someone who can shorten/rocker a B1 in SE Michigan

A buddy of mine is looking to get his 94 B1 shortened or rockered, not quite sure which yet. We are not quite up to the task to do it ourselves as we are lacking in fiberglass experience. Is there anyone in southeast Mi that does this work? A little background. My buddy and I both picked up...

    Resurrecting a 1994 Waveblaster

Yea, they are rare in Michigan. I actually went to Indiana for this one. I had never seen any in the wild till a month back then I saw two in one day, in different locations!

They are a ton of fun! If you get the chance to ride a modded one, do it.

EZ-SKI single and dual fuel jug carriers... questions for all of you ..

Chris, what style fuel jugs are you making these to fit? Alot of the new fuel jugs have a handle on the corner of the jug instead of the side. I have a few of these newer style as well as a ton of the old VP style and it kind of sucks that I cannot secure the new style in the old racks using the...

    Resurrecting a 1994 Waveblaster

Got to run the Blaster on Friday night for a test and tune. Ran horribly at first because I had the needle settings a bit too far out. About 30 minutes of tuning, this thing rips! It sounds nice and pulls strong. Had it out Sunday all day alongside my SJ and it ran perfectly. I love the way...

    Resurrecting a 1994 Waveblaster

I ordered up all new silicone couplers to replace the hacked together rubber couplers that were in the ski. Tapped the pump and manifold for dual cooling so I had all that off. Here it is in the ski as I was getting ready to shim it. Almost complete. Just missing one 2 inch coupler, some feet...

    Resurrecting a 1994 Waveblaster

I had to notch the cylinders in two different places so that the girdled head would fit. The case studs wont be able to fit without cutting some of the cylinder material. I did not get an up close pic of where to cut, but here it is with the new head on it.

    Resurrecting a 1994 Waveblaster

I got a hell of a deal on an ADA girdled head kit with 35 mm domes yesterday. Brand new for $300 shipped. So, I think I am about done acquiring parts for this blaster. I will have some more pics as I get it assembled. Forgot to mention, I just swapped the complete midshaft assembles between my...

    Resurrecting a 1994 Waveblaster

So, the deal I was trying for worked out! I picked up a B1 with a 62T and a Factory B Pipe and Factory waterbox in it as a donor for my B1! Even has the 62T electronics and a billet coupler set. So, out comes my 61X engine and in goes this setup. This basically emulates the setup I have in my SJ...

I did what you guys said and I have just enough room to carry the blaster now. Thanks!

Other Hitch Hauler Lets see everyone's Hitch Hauler pics and setups

There is exactly 2 inches from the end of the insert to the back of the hole. So, probably just enough to drill about 3/4 of an inch back?

Other Hitch Hauler Lets see everyone's Hitch Hauler pics and setups

I am sad. I just confirmed my B1 wont fit my G2 hitch hauler behind my 2016 F150. The hull rubs on the plastic covering of the truck bumper by just enough. :(

    Resurrecting a 1994 Waveblaster

Yea, I think your correct. Well I may not end up using it if I can get another deal I am working on to go through. Glad to hear that it is a good pipe though!

    Resurrecting a 1994 Waveblaster

So I got my Riva dry pipe in the mail. It needed refinishing so I wire wheeled it down and gave it a quick spray job with engine enamel. I have new o-rings, lord mounts, t-clamps, and silicone hose for it. However, I am working on something even better for the blaster so this pipe may soon be...

    Resurrecting a 1994 Waveblaster

I am located in Milford, near Novi. Port Sheldon is a hell of a drive for me. I usually ride the St Clair river over by Algonac. Hoping to head over there with the SJ on Saturday actually.

    Rebuilding a 1995 Blaster!

Let me know which route you are going to take when you rear exhaust mod it. I want to do it to mine. I really like the 701 Industries kit but shipping from Aus, ugghh.
