New superjet tank top fuel system

It’s a filler so he asked if it’s less filling. Tastes great, no, less filling is an old American beer ad campaign for Miller Lite, it was advertised to taste great but be less filling than regular beer.

Just picked up a 94 stock blaster.

For the hitch hauler you should be strapping from the front and rear bow eyes. You can remove the seat and install a third one over the middle of the hull then the seat should latch back on over the tiedown.

Just picked up a 94 stock blaster.

First mod should be a better tiedown method. You are killing that poor seat.

    Dual carb vs single

Single carb will always be easier to tune. The biggest issue might be finding a single carb intake manifold.

    Securing ski

Like they say, a lock will only keep honest people honest. The only thing you can hope is a thief is slowed down or moves on to easier pickings. When we travel with our skis we cover them and wrap a long cable lock around the skis, trailer and covers. And insure them for just the duration of...

    New spring or old?

If it’s an aftermarket carb kit it’s crap. Only genuine Mikuni. If it ran good never change the spring as most in the kits are wrong.

    SBT Crank OK?

Correct as I said. But they are much thicker than the one in the OP's picture. There's also the chance I am wrong on the Yamaha crank, LOL. Sure looked like a redi-sleeve and been a little while since I had mine apart. Maybe SBT just installs the #4 "Sleeve" for you?

    SBT Crank OK?

I have an OEM crank I'll check when I get home. In the OP picture you can clearly see the sleeve and sealant and is not part of the as-cast crank. I honestly don't know if Yamaha installs these on OEM cranks or not but other OEM's don't. Others like Kawasaki and Seadoo either run a seal directly...

    SBT Crank OK?

It's a Redi-Sleeve to fix a damaged crank seal surface. The crank was damaged before they rebuilt it and this is how they fixed the seal surface. Probably just sealant. Redi-Sleeves Timken offers Redi-Sleeves, which are precision stainless steel wear sleeves designed to be pressed onto a shaft...

    Water ingestion damage

Not to turn this into an oil thread, LOL. But this is exactly why Seadoo went with API-TC instead of TCW-3. I have a bunch of the old Seadoo mineral oil I run in all of my standups since I have moved onto 787 & 951's that take full synthetic API-TC.

    Water ingestion damage

The key here is water ingestion and it is going to wash off any oil. If you do ingest water get it cleaned out asap and fog the crap out of it. Amsoil is good oil but it isn't magic like some people believe but they have some of the best marketing. Run a good marine rated oil, try to keep the...
