That pipe is fine. The water box could be restricted as the mesh screen inside can plug up. What pump and impeller you running?

Yes, and fog the engine when putting it away.

If you are getting water coming out of the tray then the tubes have holes in them and have to be completely replaced. Also your tray foam is soaked with water now and needs to be removed and replaced especially if water is leaking out of the screw holes and footholds then water is getting in...

Pressure testing the engine is a guaranteed way to know for sure instead of everyone guessing.

Are you referring to me? Mine is a stock 1991 440, nothing replaced or changed. 1990 SX is not the pink lightning, only 1991-1992 550SX were the pink lightning. 1990 SX looked like this and was the SX hull but with the old piston port 550.

What engine and carb? 6M6 650 single carb? 61X/61X single carb? 62T/61X dual carb?
