It's not that one metal heats up faster than the other, it's that aluminum expands more when heated.

Wonder if going to 4" would help it clear a little better. I guess if its too big it will bunch up though.

The bottom is 1/4 pipe and the top is 1/8 pipe. My manifold did not have those casting flaws...

Mag pump or different exhaust pipe?
I would step up and go with a 148 mag. You need a prop anyway, so just spend the money on a pump. A 148 will hold you over for a long time.

No, you can only see them on the top. Air bubbles in the epoxy leads to air leaks down the road.
