Cool place to ride. Are the plans to camp on the island for the weekend or just a day ride?

Pretty sure the wps and advance lithium's are the same, just different color casing. I have had decent luck with my advance batteries with total loss. I like the idea that if it craps out on me I don't have to ship it back for a replacement. Not losing a weekend of riding is worth a good amount...

I had 2 seasons on my dasa 1000, which was probably close to 500 gallons of fuel if not more. I pulled it down once and replaced the top end bearings just to be safe. But it really comes down to how well you treat them, how much water they ingest, etc. But on anything with an aftermarket...

Except the one we shipped left in the same container above and showed up to the customer in a cardboard box. Took close to 5 months before they paid out. They kept saying it was packaged incorrectly, but they repackaged it after they broke the tote we shipped it in.

Possibly, maybe a little fatter on the bottom.

Going by the amount of goop on the domes, piston wash isn't something that you can read. Water in the combustion chamber steam cleans parts.

I have seen it happen both ways.

It's funny you say that. The 1000 I had, the domes fit super tight in the head shell. I had to use ice or something cold to shrink the domes enough to get them in and out, which could cause them not to seat if you are unaware of that.

If you're squish was too tight then that was causing deto, which was backing the plug out. I would check the squish to be sure. I have seen them come straight from dasa and the squish was way too tight.

With forged pistons you wont' see it on the piston face for a long time. Do you have pictures of the plugs? The liquid that's on your domes looks like oil that is mixed with water.
