    Super Jet Project Dance-floor

Thank you very much for the kind words. It truly is paying off. Hopefully I can get the Driveline in this weekend and get it out on the water , it depends on how everything goes together. It's not nearly as perfect as the pictures lead you to believe , I know where all the imperfections are lol

How to refiberglass tray after defoam and refoam??

Yup and yup. Watch this guy for a few hours on his fiberglass repairs videos and you will get a solid technique. Also, you got my number if you would rather talk on the cell.

    RN Superjet Colander Build

I would feather it in with sandpaper first to knock down the high spots then mix up some boat bondo "Cabosil and microspheres" to be able to fare it in and sand to a smooth finish. You dont want to remove the material as much as knock down anything that will cause a nail to hang. Then faring...

    Used 1990 Custom superjet

I took a bit of inspiration from this build. Good luck on the sale, its a good paint job away from being a baller ski.

    Super Jet Project Dance-floor

I put acid purple sheathing around the start-stop switch with 3 to 1 adhesive heat shrink to hold it in place.

Acetone, polyester resin, and various other chemicals will eat right through many foams. Thankfully the epoxy resins we work with dont eat it, so yes, you can lay right over the shaped foam.

    Super Jet Project Dance-floor

I made my limiting rope using a four strand round method of 550 cord. I didn't like the idea of metal bits under the pole in the way of a d-ring so I threaded it through the hole and tied it off to one of the pole support pillars.

    Super Jet Project Dance-floor

I think I have an 18" Irwin, I doubt its long enough. Three able bodied adults should be able to get it in I suspect without the clamp but Im adding it to my shopping list for future builds. Side note for anyone up in the great lakes region. Im planning on attending the Wave Rave free ride in...

    Superjet motor swap.

I have read good things about them. May require some tuning but if you have it on hand I say go for it, way better than the breadbox.

    Super Jet Project Dance-floor

No real updates that warrant pictures yet. I dropped my electrical off at a local electrician to clean the wiring up a bit since it was couch parts. They did a good job, I am waiting on some purple sheathing and 3:1 adhesive heat shrink, I am putting it on the SS switch and possibly the plug...

Freestyle Latest opinions on FW batteries?

I was wondering about that since I am in a similar boat. Do you think tape and maybe mild silicone could be enough to protect it as well as make it removable for warranty?

    Superjet motor swap.

The only downside is the lower than standard Rev limit and the pipes fitting but not port matching. Helicoils will need to be used on the couch cylinder and Im not sure how you will align the couch exhaust to the 650 since the exhaust uses bigger bolts, it will have a bit of wiggle till you...

How to refiberglass tray after defoam and refoam??

You get a chemical bond if you lay them one after the other. Do a layer, wet it out, get out air and make sure its got a nice bond, rinse, repeat. You are good for at least several layers, I have done five with the proper timing. Im currently being disappointed by Game of Thrones so keep the...

    EZ-SKI HITCH HAULER PICTURES!

Got bored so I had my son hold the camera for me to show you guys how quick it makes loading the ski with the boatbuckles. Sorry about the barking dogs.

64y motor into SN Exhaust ?

The 760 can be made fast fairly easily. You can use the stock ignition just fine however there are three lumps on the flywheel, the third lump initiates a timing delay on the rear cylinder. If you grind the third small lump off it performs admirably. Additionally you will need to change...

    760 with B-Pipe

When I did my 62t I remember bringing the ceiling of the mariner 6m manifold up to match about 1/8", it was already pre ported for the x cylinder. That was however last year and I have slept since then. I dont remember it being difficult with a dremel and a stone bit. They caked up really fast...

    760 with B-Pipe

I know you can send the bpipe off to be matched and bored at 51mm. I imagine whoever offers that service could also port the manifold to the 760 size exh port. Just another option.

Something that no one asked was what pipe? If its the bread box I would do a hard pass and find a pipe. Cheater pipe about 300 complete (650sx based) Riva black pipe about 350 Riva red pipe about 350 Coffmans sizzler if you can find it is about 550 FP Bpipe is about 800 Various dry pipes also...
