You will love it down there and it should be a good time. I stayed at the Days Inn last year and just mountain biked over to the finals. It's not too far, but the hotel by Crazy Horse (wf's location) would be a better option. I would recommend making reservations ahead of time to secure a room.

I just crimp the cable with a ss bolt. Kind of like how a mountain bike brake cable works. The cables are real long so you can cut back the sheathing a bit to get more cable.
