I run Motul 800 2t in my Dasa, very nice stuff. It was recommended to me from a pretty good source. I have heard good things about Klotz R50 too.

Hi Christian, I made my own set up. I wasn't able to buy the foot holds last year, so I had to modify the old ones. Cool that you were able to get a set of dvx holds. I think you will like your set up forsure.

It's a pre order, I saw it in Havasu though. I really liked the look of it and Ihow you could mount the steering cable the in different locations. Brian is going to cut some bushings to fit my xmetal bracket too. Hopefully everything transfers over. I can post some photos when I get it...

Thanks Mike, I totally agree. I appreciate your insight, makes sense to me. I usually don't like riding the chop but Tonka can get pretty wavy sometimes. That Kdx is really impressive through the rough stuff. My main goal is flat water forsure.

One thing I noticed for me was when I went to a shorter ride plate the nose pops up more which made me want to shorten the pole length. That may be a variable to think about too. I am going to try a shorter pole length next year, per Mike B. I am quite short, so it makes hitting the chop...

08+ hulls carve so nice, I miss mine sometimes. Perfect hull for rec riding too. I agree it would be kind of fun to ride a thumper some days.

I am guessing the engine bay needed a bit more room for the new engine design. I can imagine that thing would get some air on a big wave. My old sxr used to launch nice big waves, but that was the only thing it would jump. I like the new concept, it will be interesting to see what direction...

I agree, but sooner or later it catches up to them. My buddy lost both his bikes and his trailer years back. Some how he heard it was a B rider who was behind it, due to noticeable characteristics of his bikes. Years later the same guy was working at a Motocross shop and his boss was informed...

Sorry to hear, that is really bad news. I am sure those hulls are pretty unique, so I am sure it will stand out in a crowd. People don't realize how much time, money, and effort that goes into our boats. It is very devistating to hear. I hope it turns up soon.

Maybe try running a 1/4" NPT tap through it? I have a 155mm Maxx on one of my boats and 1/4" NPT works on mine.
