I had my ski wrapped 3 years ago and it still looks perfect. It has a special laminate on top of the wrap to protect it. I have hit this and it gouged the wrap and not the ski because the various layers are so thick. Definitely worth it IMO.
I am currently running the XMW adjustable steering system and it drives me nuts because the mounting point for the steering cable always moves around because it is not fixed or bolted onto the steering plate.
I am considering getting the Blowsion Kommand Billet Steering System and wanted to know if anyone on here currently running or has ever rode a ski with this steering system. I would love to hear what you experiences were/are with this product before I purchase it.
I am running a q8 with an...
My q8 has a yami motor and with a kawi mag pump and it rips!!! I absolutely love. Back flipped my first time out on it off a boat wake, and I never back flipped before that moment. also almost getting plate to plate on barrell rolls. Getting bog height just have to work on my rotation.
Let me...
I know you are not talking down the hull and never felt that you were. I simply asked so that I can better understand what parts in particular because I used all Yami parts on my Q8 with the exception of the pump. I have a 62T motor using OEM motor mounts, limited b-pipe, X-metal waterbox...
I am running the same setup in my q8 but I am using a 145 mag pump, you should call Eric or TeamScream as I am sure they will be able to point you in the right direction.
Like everyone else stated there is no low cost way around having a custom AM hull completely built out for you with all new parts. I just with through this with my Q8 Sky and it wasn't cheap and I put it together myself to help save on the cost, but it is still very expensive especially when...
So I have only ever gotten all the way around doing a barrel roll once on my SJ. I tried a three barrel rolls for the first time the other day on my new Q8 and nailed all of them. Each time going bigger...I hope to have more video soon.
The cabin cruiser made it easier but it essientially comes down to form
Thanks Josh...Motor hits like a bomb and I absolutely love every bit of it. A buddy of mine is awesome at BFs and kept pushing me to stay low in the tray and kept telling me it's all about timing and form. When I...
The first day ever really riding my new EME Q8 Sky was in the Detroit River Days Jet Ski show. After spending a little time getting use to the new ski and practicing a couple failed flat water BFs in the chop, a cabin cruiser went by and I decided to not hold back. So I just GRIPPED IT & RIPPED...
I'm sure it is a great setup just not ideal for my situation as my Q8 is a little wider than my SJ and I perfer to have the skis inside the fenders just as an added measure of security so that I if I cut to close to something I would rather lose a fender than a ski.
Frame Width: 44 Inches
Width Between Fenders: 46 Inches
Overall Width: 59 Inches
Not sure how you managed to fit 2 skis on that trailer with those demensions, but I would guess they are smashing into each other as you drive down the road. I am not looking to cut it...
Do you have a pic of your trailer? As I have recently built another ski and only have a small single place stand-up triailer that I am looking to get rid of once I can get my hands on a 2 place stand-up trailer and it sounds like I would be able to convert the one you have into a 2 place...
I kept it simple and just bought moving dollie from home depot and some U-bolts and mounted my AC Racing stand on to it. Quick and Easy!!

Ended up costing me $210.76 shipped. I used the coupon code of 15OFF to knock off an...
I think it cost me about $350 but as jetskier23 mentioned you have to break everything down as each piece needs to be clean and free of and fuel or oil as the parts are placed in some sort of oven. There are pics on my build thread of each piece that was powder coated.
If repainted becomes a...
